Agnes Ayton

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist,

Darwin Centre,

 

Dr Ayton completed her training in Child Psychiatry in 2000 in Yorkshire. She has been working as a Tier-4 consultant since. Her interest took her to a specialist eating disorder unit in the private sector (Huntercombe Hospitals) for three and a half years. She returned to the NHS in 2007, and she works at the Darwin Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.

 
Primarily a clinician, she has also been involved in various research projects, such as the development of the CAMHS Satisfaction Scale and the COSI-CAPS study.

Dasha Nicholls, MBBS, MRCPsych, MD

Dasha Nicholls

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Joint Head of Feeding & Eating Disorders Service, Dept. of Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust, London.

 

Dr Nicholls trained in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, where she now co-leads the Feeding and Eating Disorders Service.
 
Her main research interests are the nosology, epidemiology and treatment of childhood eating disorders.
 
She has written, lectured and published widely and is an active contributor to the eating disorders field through the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Academy for Eating Disorders and the Eating Disorders Research Society.

Anne Stewart, BSc, MBBS, DCH, MRCPsych, Dip Cogn Th

Anne StewartConsultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Oxford City CAMHS team and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of Oxford.

 

Dr Stewart trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in Oxford and has had experience in inpatient management of eating disorders in Oxford, prior to focussing on community management of eating disorders.

 

She has a strong interest in promoting early identification and intervention. Her academic and research interests are in prevention of eating disorders, ethical and legal issues in eating disorders, the use of CBT in adolescent eating disorders and patients’ experiences in eating disorders.
