Clinical Senior Lecturer in child and adolescent
psychiatry at the University of Leicester.
Dr Dogra was a Commonwealth Fund Harkness
Fellow in Health Care Policy in 2005-2006. She is involved in
a wide variety of teaching and training events in undergraduate and
postgraduate education and has acted as advisor for a course on
human diversity at the Medical University of Southern Africa.
Dr Dogra has also supported the
development of learning and teaching in child mental health and
teaching skills at the University of Varanasi in India and is due
to undertake a similar project at the University of Ibadan in
Nigeria. Her research interests include cultural diversity training
for medical students and health care professionals, effective
methods of training, evaluation of training and young people’s
perceptions of mental health services. Her clinical areas of
interest include adolescents and the use of systemic practice
beyond family therapy.
