Martin CurticeConsultant in old age psychiatry, the Hollyhill Unit, Birmingham.
 
Dr Curtice obtained a Master of Laws with Distinction in Mental Health Law in 2003. He has an interest in mental health law, human rights and the Human Rights Act 1998 and has publications in these areas. He sits on the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Special Committee on Human Rights.

Richard Symonds MBChB FRCPsych LLM

Dr Symonds has been a full-time consultant psychiatrist in Kent for general adult and rehabilitation psychiatry. Now retired from most of the NHS (he still has a small liaison role) he is engaged as a medical member for the Tribunal Service. He has an interest in mental health law and human rights and has obtained a Master of Laws in Mental Health Law. He sits on the Special Committee for Human Rights at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
