Dr Patel has been a consultant psychiatrist in
general adult psychiatry since 1987. He has special responsibility
for a CMHT in Luton. He has served the College as an examiner
for MRCPsych Part I written paper, Part I and II clinicals and
OSCEs, and is an examiner for CASCs (Clinical Assessment of Skills
and Competencies). He has published four books on MRCPsych
examinations and his main interest is the teaching and training of
under- and post-graduate trainees.

Haider Malik, MBBS, MRCPsych, PG cert
Specialty Registrar (ST6) in Old Age
Psychiatry in South Essex Partnership Trust, currently working in
Old Age Psychiatry in his last year of Higher Specialist
Training.
Dr Malik’s interests include
Neuropsychiatric disorders and teaching health care professionals.
He is embarking MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry at University of
Birmingham. His future plans are to work as a Consultant
Psychiatrist and involve in liaison work with the Neurology and
other disciplines of medicine.
